The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the main bus station, within minutes walk of Sauchihall Street shops, Buchanan Street shops, the Pavilion Theatre and about 10 minutes walk from Argyle Street shops and about 15 minutes walk from the River Clyde. There is a lovely Wetherspoons pub (the Society Rooms) 2 streets away, perfect for a cooked breakfast and reasonably priced food and drinks. The staff in the hotel are very friendly, efficient and helpful - check-in was the easiest we've ever had! The rooms are small but comfortable with safe, hairdryer, plenty of sockets and shelves, hand wash and shower gel in the bathroom and huge fluffy bath sheets. There is no window but decent air conditioning/heating keeps the temperature to your liking. The lighting is really quite funky with a choice of colours right through the spectrum so you can tailor it to suit your mood. The bed was comfortable so we got a good night's sleep. There isn't a kettle but reception has a coffee machine if you need a cuppa. There is a continental breakfast available but we went elsewhere - the staff in there are helpful though as on a previous visit we had a coffee there and she filled our flask with hot water as we were heading to Fort William by bus. The whole place is spotless and they have a luggage room - you get a ticket to reclaim your bag so it's very secure. There 2 lifts to all the floors. The only thing I would say is that some of the rooms are accessed by 3 steps so anyone travelling with a wheelchair would need to make sure they got a fully accessible room

Scotland’s largest city, Glasgow combines Victorian architecture and a vibrant arts scene. A former European City of Culture, it is home to many national organisations including the Scottish Ballet and the National Theatre of Scotland. The museums are also world class. Not to be missed are the futuristic-looking Glasgow Science Centre and the eclectic exhibits at the Kelvingrove.
Lined with Georgian buildings, George Square is the city’s focal point and the spot for Glasgow Hogmanay celebrations. Fanning out from here are streets housing venues for the city’s main love: music. From classical concerts to up-and-coming bands, every taste is catered for.
As host of the 2014 Commonwealth Games, Glasgow is also a city of sport. Scotland’s 2 most iconic football clubs - Celtic and Rangers - are based here, as is the national football stadium Hampden Park. The Scottish Football Museum is also an excellent walk through the beautiful game.
Last but not least is the shopping in Glasgow. Shopping centres cover everything from high street brands to international designers. So when you fly into Glasgow Airport, make sure you’ve left enough space in your bags!

I love Glasgow! This was my third very short trip, but I'm definitely going to be heading back for a longer stay at some point. I'll be able to give a better review of the city when I've stayed longer and actually used the cafes and bars. The chippy I went to after the gig was lovely though, although I can't remember the name. It was under a bridge though!

We would recommend the Botanic Garden, the Cathedral,...
We would recommend the Botanic Garden, the Cathedral, Glasgow University, Riverside Museum and Kelvingrove Art Museum. We would recommend to stay max. 2 days in the city not more as Glasgow is an industrial city, not really nice although it has a few nice parts. It has good pubs with live music and good food (for eg. Lauder's). All in all, it is not a city ww would visite more than once.

Glasgow is a combination of old and new.
Glasgow is a combination of old and new. We took the Big Red sightseeing bus on the complete route to check out what we wanted to see. The tour is about 1.5 hours long and is great. they know Glasgow well and commentary during tour was superb. After seeing what the city has to offer, we toured the Cathedral and Kelvingrove Museum. Both were great sights to see. Just did not have enough time to devote to museum which was a shame, just needed more time. Glasgow is a good walkers town. Easy to navigate and if you don't mind walking, it is easy to get around the main downtown areas.

I booked this place via Booking.com, and I found it...
I booked this place via Booking.com, and I found it reasonably good. The location was excellent as it was next to Charing Cross station, allowing easy travel to any part of Glasgow. Edinburgh is only an hour away, and the round-trip cost is 16 pounds. I booked the hotel and paid the amount at the property without any issues. The rates were incredibly good compared to others, and the room was nice. The only issue was that there was no internet in the room, and we had to pay 7 pounds for 24 hours of internet access. However, you can always use your own data SIM.

It's a city!
It's a city! We were coming from the highlands and headed to the Lake District, so it did not do much for us, but if you love architecture and history, you'll like Glasgow. We took a walk by the riverfront and did not feel very safe. We enjoyed seeing Glasgow Green, the People's Castle, and the McLennan Arch.
The staff. We had the most fun with the restaurant matrody, bar tenders, and kitchen staff after the other guests had left the bar area. They are an amazing group of people. They gave us great advice about what we could do on our rainy last day in Scotland. We had a wonderful journey in Scotland and met so many amazing people. These were some of the most memorable. Thanks for the wonderful stay. The people really do make Glasgow great!
Absolute rubbish. They charge the same price for a room in Glasgow City Centre as other hotels but don't offer the same facilities! No kettle, cups, nothing. Bathroom same size as an aeroplane toilet. Small window at best. Room so small with no room to move. Yes if it was value for money I'd accept nowhere they're charging the same price as better hotels in Glasgow! It'll be the last time I book one of their hotels.
Location was excellent. Location was excellent. Just outside of Glasgow train centre, cheap food right next door and a very cute scottish pub next door too and hop on hop off bus directly across street . Centre of Glasgow short 10-15 minute walk away. Cleanist hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Super modern and sleek. Price for location was good. Room was small and very comfortable and totally efficient use of space.
The location was perfect. Right in the city centre. 3 minutes walk from a bus and subway stations that would take you to pretty much anywhere in the city.
The hotel was right next to central station and 10 minutes walk from queen street station.
The staff were friendly and the hotel offered express check out.
The room was big and very clean. The bathroom was big as well, had a bathtub, and was clean.
Booked this hotel to attend the world pipeband championships in Glasgow green. Weve stayed here for the last 3 years now. Location is good. A little noisy but we expect that being right in the centre of Glasgow city centre.
The room wasn't up to the standard we remember from the previous 2 stays. The carpet wasn't very clean at all
Very clean hotel, shower was amazing!! comfy beds and nice big rooms, we was upgraded on arrival to a room with a connecting living area on the 11th floor with some amazing views. Pool area clean and tidy. Within walking distance to the Hydro and SECC in Glasgow. Cheap car park also for being in the city centre. Would 100% go back.
Very helpful staff, brand new, beautiful hotel, big and cosy room, we were on the highest floor with a beautiful city view. Everything was very clean. Location is the city centre. Very-very good value for money. Glasgow will not be our favourite destination, but we would return anytime to this hotel.
We've stayed many times at this hotel in Glasgow and it suits us for all our needs.
Very friendly staff, good size family room, and great location for a pleasant walk into the city centre.
(up the 39 steps and along St.Vincent street where you'll find lots of great bars and restaurants.)
The downstairs lobby was a little dingy but when you come out to the hotel on the 6th floor, it is bright and airy. The hotel puts out home made baked treats for visitors, reception was very nice, and the rooms clean. This was one of our best lodging on our trip to Scotland!
The hotel feels quite casual not very luxe but considering it’s the highest rated hotel in Glasgow I booked it. It was good but not great. The room wasn’t cozy enough and the ac made clicking sounds at night. The staff however were very friendly.
Well located budget hotel close to Glasgow City Centre. Not far from a subway station. Plenty of amenities around the hotel. The room itself was nice and clean and comfortable. Decent Wifi and free parking. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Very well-priced small hotel in West End of Glasgow, excellent location for bars and restaurants. Very clean and comfortable. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Stayed twice now and would definitely recommend.
Room comfy and very clean. Bathroom excellent. Location handy for city centre and west end of glasgow. Good general facilities in room. Staff friendly and polite. Public areas of hotel in good condition.
Comfortable apartment. Really convenient for the city centre. Very good value for money especially given some of the hotel prices in Glasgow on the weekend we visited.
One of the best hotels in Glasgow. Located 10 mins walk from main walking area in city center. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed buffet breakfast.
